Although the Brazilian women's rugby sevens team didn't win any medals at the Rio Olympics on Monday night, one player got the surprise of her life when her girlfriend proposed to her in the sweetest and most heartfelt way possible.
According to Gay Times, Marjorie Enya, a manager at Rio's Deodoro Stadium where the women's rugby sevens matches were taking place, proposed to her now fiancée Isadora Cerullo by giving an extremely emotional speech to her and the rest of her teammates.
"As soon as I knew she was in the squad, I thought I have to make this special," Enya told the BBC of the public proposal to her Olympic rugby playing girlfriend. "I know rugby people are amazing and they would embrace it."
