These 67 Young LGBT People Are Making an Impact on the World
In 1967, a group of activists—who went by the name of Personal Rights in Defense and Education (also known as PRIDE)—founded The Advocate, the country's longest-running LGBT news and politics publication. To celebrate this momentous moment of queer history from 50 years ago, we're honoring 67 young queer people who are dedicated to making the world a better place. We call this collective of ambitious LGBTQ playmakers the #PRIDE67! And to honor their work as activists and artists, we illustrated them!
A special thank you to Brendan Haley for the beautiful illustrations, and to our contributors Taylor Henderson, Ana Valens, Jayson Flores, and Ian Martella for the words.
