30 MORE Things I'd Rather Discuss with Conservative Family Members Than Politics

A few weeks ago I wrote an article detailing the struggle of being a liberal living near conservative family members in a swing state.

With the election coverage growing every day, and politics becoming seemingly the only thing people can talk about anymore, it's getting harder and harder to avoid the chats with the more conservative parts of the family.

This has led me to think that maybe it's time for another installment; a part 2, if you will.

Because I can't handle another conversation about imagined benefits of a Trump nomination or (god forbid) presidency, allow me to go ahead and suggest a few more things I'd rather discuss with the more right-leaning side of the fam:

5. The accumulation rate of dust.

6. Two-ply toilet paper vs. three-ply paper. How many plies are enough?

8. Why aren't lightbulbs shipped in more protective packaging? They're barely covered. And they're glass. Rubber bands have more coverage.

9. The invention of cardboard. Who? Where? When? Why? How?

10. Do different colors of M&M have different flavors?

11. Best and most obscure casserole recipes

12. The history of the push pin

13. A definitive ranking of every Neil Diamond song

14. Rhetorical properties, principles, and theories

15. The life cycle of a cockroach

16. The latest advancements in street sweeping technology
