It's a dreadful day. It's an unavoidably horrible day, and yes, there is plenty that we can do to mobilize and regroup and find ways to fight the results of the 2016 presidential election. We're going to do that in just a moment, but we also lost a lot of sleep last night and need a sec to collect ourselves and find some peace of mind. Since they took Kitten Party, a delightful 30 minute, acid trip-esque literal party of kittens, off of Netflix, we obviously need a replacement, and it looks like Unlikely Animal Friends is just what the doctor (/us, depressed, scrolling through Netflix) ordered. If anything, doesn't your confused, tired soul deserve to listen to the words "Silky Chicken" said over and over again? Don't you want to know what a Silky Chicken is? This, this is a Silky Chicken.

But it's not only just the existence of Silky Chickens that's great. There are a lot of wonderful unlikely animal friends in this video, which we'd particularly hope for -- in that it's called "Unlikely Animal Friends." There's a tammar wallaby who's best friends with a girl named Taylor. There's a goat that's just in the midst of a fierce friendship with a donkey because they've figured out how to work that out even if our nation can't figure out how to be a country that isn't run by a Batman villain. If a squirrel and a dog can be friends, can I finally get an hour of sleep? Why is there an entire segment about a cat and a person, which is a pretty normal duo? Who knows, but it's cute, and for 43:37 we're going to embrace preciousness and not think about anything else. "That's quite a lot of minutes to devote to unlikely animal friends," you may say. We say, "It's not enough time at all." Remember Silky Chickens?
