Accommodations set the pace for any vacation and Key West has a wide array of places to choose from. Whether you're looking for a lively social scene or beachy solitiude, Key West has the perfect getaway to fit your vacation needs.

The Island House

1. The Island House

Men-only and clothing optional, the Island House is a welcome retreat for exhibitionists and vacationers alike. Rooms are recently renovated and offer various views of the resort, from pool to hot tub. As a guest, you can also enjoy free happy hour drinks and 24/7 food, as well as an abundance of men going from the gym, to the pool, to the sauna and back again.

The Equator Resort

2. The Equator Resort

The Equator rocks a similiar vibe to the Island House (clothing option, men only), but is slightly more relaxed and low-key. The rooms are equally modern (if not a touch larger), and there are two different pools to enjoy. Though the Equator does not have a restaurant, there's a complementary breakfast, bar, and a friendly, good looking crowd.

Alexander's Guesthouse

3. Alexander's Guesthouse

Though Alexander's caters to an LGBT crowd, it also welcomes straight guests and their loved ones. The hotel was recently renovated and boasts a sophsticated white and wood palette. A delicious breakfast, complementary happy hour cocktails, crisp linens, and a romantically lit jacuzzi and pool make Alexander's the ultimate relaxation spot. Though you're required to wear a bathing suit in the outdoor area, you can head to a clothing-optional sun deck for a more full-body tan.

Casa Marina

4. Casa Marina

Nestled inside a 1920s historic building, Casa Marina flaunts oceanfront luxory at its finest. Guests can take advantage of the boutique resort feel without sacrificing any amenities, like a delectable beachside restaurant, hammocks, and flawless service. Even just roaming Casa Marina's grounds is enough to feel like you're in the middle of a sunny paradise you'll never want to leave.

Sunset Key Cottages

5. Sunset Key Cottages

Why not just get away from it all? Sunset Key Cottages is about a five minute boat ride from the mainland and offers solitude and exceptional service. Cottages are as large as 4-bedrooms, and feature wrap-around porches, white rocking chairs, oceanfront views, private beach access, and fresh bread and orange juice delivered daily to your doorstep. Ferries run twice per hour, but with one of Key West's best restaurants, Latitudes, located on the premises, it's hard to find any reason to leave.
