Orange Is the New Black's best couple of season four (and maybe of all-time) proved that QWOC love is real.
Spoilers ahead!
My queer, queer heart will never recover from the loss of Poussey, an icon, a legend, and one of the few queer black women ever featured on a mainstream television show. The moment she found love, we lost her forever.
It’s been weeks now since I finished binge-watching Orange Is The New Black, and I still haven’t gotten over it.
If you, too, aren’t over it, the loss of the epic romance between Soso and Poussey (aka Pousoso), we’ve got your back. We compiled the very best fan-made videos to help you cope, or get a good cry in.
1. The-LittleFangirl knows just what it takes to make a good tribute video. This warm and fuzzy video will give you all the feels.
2. If you just need a good cry, this video from vivaciousFanatic with its artful edits and sad, slow soundtrack will go great with a tub of ice cream and a good bottle of wine.
3. Halo, slow mo, and giggles, ugh. This video from NebulaProduction will break you in two.
4. If a good throwback is what you need, this video by LoSJK will draw the pre-S4 parallels that will remind you that, once, things were beautiful.
5. Need something a little happier? This compilation by litchfieldsqueens features all of the sweetest, most heart-tugging (but not sad!) Pousoso moments.
It hurts to mourn Poussey, and to mourn Pousoso, but at least we have creators putting together tributes to remind us that, yes, love is real.
