Hi Fam 🌈
We're not going to sugar coat it: this was a tough week. Between everything coming out of Washington, DC, and now the United Kingdom’s Supreme Court getting in on the anti-trans action, it can be easy to lose hope. But we, as a community and as people, are nothing if not resilient, and there's still plenty to feel joy about.
While J.K. Rowling has gone full Voldemort (again), celebrating her part in the rolling back of trans women's rights, plenty of the stars of her book series have loudly supported us.
But that's not the only reason to put a smile on our faces. The Drag Race finale is tonight, and we’ve been catching up with the queens like Kori King and Onya Nurve to get all the tea before a new drag superstar is crowned.
We also have plenty of queer celeb hot goss from Bowen Yang, Dylan Efron, and mega babe Joel Kim Booster. Haley Kiyoko unleashed lesbian chaos. Oh, and of course, the WNBA draft gave us all the sapphic joy this week. This means a new crop of rookies is headed to the WNBA, but they were slaying just as hard on the orange carpet. Last but not least, we're still not over how the lesbians ruled Coachella once again! We can't wait to see what chaos they unleash this weekend!
Cheers!
