Hi Fam 🌈
We’re always glad to be gay, but this week we’re GLAAD, too! That’s because we're bathing in the afterglow of this year’s GLAAD awards, which saw some of our favorite out and proud stars and allies hitting the red carpet. PRIDE caught up with the likes of Matt Bomer, David Archuleta, JoJo Siwa, Tanner Adell, Dylan Efron, Vincent, and more to talk about everything from trans visibility to Ariana Grande’s new album, and a sexy back arch that broke the internet.
But that’s not all. PRIDE sat down with Peaches Christ about her mission to keep drag icon Hecklina’s legacy and the investigation into her passing alive. We also celebrate pre-Hays Code lesbians, welcome newly out queer celebs and athletes into our family, and cheer on Vivian Wilson for her verbal takedowns of her father, Elon Musk.
While the struggles that LGBTQ+ people continue to face are very real, there is and will always be plenty of reason for queer joy. Keep scrolling for just a handful of those reasons.
What a week!
Cheers!
