Unofficial Biographer Insists Michael Jackson Was Gay

Investigative journalist and Michael Jackson's unofficial biographer Ian Halperin claims  the King of Pop was gay in his book Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson.

Investigative journalist and Michael Jackson's unofficial biographer Ian Halperin just came forward with alleged confirmation about Michael Jackson's homosexuality, according to The Advocate.

Halperin claims the King of Pop was reportedly gay -- a statement he made based on his alleged exclusive conversations with two of Jackson's past lovers.

Writing in London's Daily Mail, Halperin commented: "In the course of my investigations, I spoke to two of his gay lovers, one a Hollywood waiter, the other an aspiring actor. The waiter had remained friends, perhaps more, with the singer until his death last week. He had served Jackson at a restaurant, Jackson made his interest plain, and the two slept together the following night. According to the waiter, Jackson fell in love."

He also added that the waiter showed him evidence of his alleged affair with Jackson producing photographs of the pair together.

Halperin has already written an unauthorized biography dubbed The Final Years of Michael Jackson in which he states that while Michael Jackson was definitely gay, he was never, however, interested in children and that the previous allegations of sexual abuse by Jordan Chandler and Gavin Arvizo, were fabricated.

The title of the book is quite eerie in light of the fact Jackson passed away not even a week ago. Yet Halperin maintains his matter of fact position vis a vis the timing of his unauthorized biography saying "I timed it because I knew around this time he was a candidate to die. I'm being totally up-front about that."

In fact Halperin predicted back in December of last year that the King of Pop only had six months to live. Back then, he also reported that Jackson had serious health problems, a claim which was immediately denied by the singer's representative.

In 2006, Jermaine Jackson, one of Michael's brothers, revealed he and his brothers thought the star was gay. Jermaine mentioned that during the Jackson 5's heydays he and his brothers would meet legions of women who would all fall in love with Michael yet  "Michael, well, he wasn't interested. We used to quietly say that we couldn't have a gay brother."

Ian Halperin is an investigative journalist who is the author or coauthor of nine books, including Celine Dion: Behind the Fairytale, Fire and Rain: The James Taylor Story and Hollywood Undercover. He coauthored Who Killed Kurt Cobain? and Love and Death: The Murder of Kurt Cobain with Max Wallace. Ian has contributed to 60 Minutes and is a regular correspondent for Court TV.

Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson by Ian Halperin is published by Transit Publishing in the UK  and Pocket Books in the US.

Does Halperin have a story or is his allegation a sleazy attempt to make money?
