A lesbian couple was found dead in their Northeast Baltimore home Wednesday evening, according to the
Advocate.
The Baltimore police has hold off on the official release of the victims' names pending notification of relatives. Also, authorities have not either confirmed the cause of death.
The bodies were discovered in a side bedroom by the daughter and niece of the woman who lives above the couple's apartment. Reportedly neighbors noticed a strong odor from the downstairs apartment which finally prompted the breaking entering into the victims house.
According to the property manager the couple was planning to move out of the building by the end of the week.
"They said they didn't want to live in Baltimore anymore," said the manager, Miki Scholtes. "They told us they were going to be out of that place by the end of the week."
The Lesbian couple who recently returned from Boston where they got married were last seen Saturday.
A neighbor said the front door to the house was locked but that a front window was open, and a side window leading to the basement appeared as if it had been forced open.
"They were real quiet people," said Jackie Samuel, whose daughter lives above where the deaths happened. "They didn't have friends over, they had no loud parties. They didn't have any parties."
Samuel said the couple did recently take in a woman who worked as a stripper, but they evicted her a few weeks ago after a loud argument.
Police have not identified the motive. Meanwhile the bodies have been transported to the state medical examiner's office for autopsies.
