According to People, the lovebirds went engagement ring shopping over the weekend, and have started planning the wedding. The ceremony will be thrown together quickly, just essential preparations. Those invited will get phone calls, as invitations will not be mailed out until later in the week.
TMZ reports Lamar had the idea. He decided to put a rush on the big day because the Los Angeles Lakers play their first preseason game on October 7.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and NBA player are almost a month into their relationship, but are ready to tie the knot. The wedding will be held September 27 in the Los Angeles area. Kim is pleased about the new couple being wed.
"They're very, very happy," Kim said to People. "They are literally inseparable. Khloe thinks he's amazing and makes her laugh and smile constantly."
Neither of the stars have formally released a statement regarding the wedding next Sunday.
