Janet Jackson Honors Michael at BET Awards

Janet Jackson honored her brother, Michael, at the BET Music Awards by speaking on behalf of the Jackson family. Janet was elected by the family to speak at the awards, as it was too painful for the whole family to attend. She thanked everyone for all of the love and support since Michael's sudden passing last week.

Janet did not walk the red carpet or do any promotions. She gave a heartfelt statement an intro to a tribute performance for the King of Pop by Ne-Yo and Jamie Foxx.
