How the Internet Is Paying Tribute to Luke Perry
The Beverly Hills, 90210 and Riverdale star passed away after suffering a stroke.
After being hospitalized last week following a massive stroke, Luke Perry passed away on Monday morning at the age of 52.
The actor was best known for his role as heartthrob Dylan McKay on FOX's iconic '90s teen drama Beverly Hills, 90210, as well as his role as Archie's father Fred Andrews on The CW's Riverdale.
Fans and colleagues of Perry took to Twitter to share their condolences and their fond memories of the '90s star.

“Whether you first knew him as the impossibly cool, sensitive, lovable bad boy Dylan McKay or the honorable and dedicated father Fred Andrews, Luke Perry won over a lot of hearts. Gone too soon, and he will be so very missed. 💔”— Freeform (@Freeform) 1551729682

“Really saddened to hear about the death of Luke Perry. I was in college at the height of 90210. I damn near failed macroeconomics because of the 90210-Melrose Place Monday night doubleheader. BTW, Dylan + Kelly > Dylan + Brenda.”— Jemele Hill (@Jemele Hill) 1551729044
“Absolutely devastating news. Luke Perry~ you left us way too soon. Such a kind soul. My prayers are with his family and dear friends. 💔”— Debra Messing✍🏻 (@Debra Messing✍🏻) 1551731600
“RIP Luke Perry. One of my favorite days of the 2008 campaign was registering voters with 'Dylan McKay' at a Bruce Springsteen concert at OSU. A proud OH native, he took extra time to come into the campaign HQ and thank Obama-Biden staff & vols. So kind & down to earth.”— Olivia Alair Dalton (@Olivia Alair Dalton) 1551731156
