Logan Paul Says He's 'Going Gay' in March—and People Aren't Happy

Logan Paul needs to stop, once and for all.

YouTube's Logan Paul is, once again, making headlines (and yes, he's still extremely problematic).

The fallen YouTube personality, best known for his many tone-deaf and inappropriate videos, is back in the news for controversially stating that he will attempt to "go gay" for a month. During an episode of his weekly podcast, Paul (along with his co-host Mike Majlak) announced that his 2019 resolution is to "go gay" for the whole month of March—an announcement that prompted both boys to erupt into laughter (because there is nothing funnier than homosexuality apparently?).

The outcry from people on social media has been swift however, defending the LGBTQ+ community from this extremely harmful accusation that being gay is somehow a choice (and not only a choice, but a gag).

This news comes a year after Paul's mainstream fall from grace, when he posted a vlog during a trip through Aokigahara (Japan’s "suicide forest") after he encountering a hanging body—a sight which publicly mocked and laughed at. Now if Paul's "going gay" resolution doesn't fill you with anger for some reason, that should.
