It's offical! After many long and stressful months following the election of Donald Trump, the once vastly-Republican House has, as of today, been sworn back in under Democratic control, with Democratic heavy-hitter Nancy Pelosi taking her place as Speaker of the House.

Ringing in the New Year, Washington celebrates today by bringing the 116th Congress to order, and along with the blue wave sweeping the nation, the reactions on Twitter are positively elated.
