Jillian Michaels, former Biggest Loser trainer and celebrity fitness expert, has been matched with a child for adoption from Haiti.
Michaels first revealed her plan to adopt in 2010, and now the 37-year-old TV personality tells Access Hollywood she has "been matched with a little girl… So now, it's just a matter of trying to get her home.”
Michaels fell in love with the orphan on a philanthropic trip to Haiti, as she explains to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush:
“I went over to visit orphanages and I ended up falling in love with this little girl, and by the grace of God, I got matched up with her. So now, it’s just a matter of trying to get her home and anything can happen and fall through or fall apart, so it’s kind of premature for me to say it, but that’s where it’s at.”
Now, Michaels can only continue to wait as her paperwork makes it’s way through appropriate government channels.
