Brenda Woods also points out that the beloved "America the Beautiful" was written by a woman who loved another woman.

Atlanta-based news anchor Brenda Woods wins at everything with this rant that dismantles arguments put forth by conservatives who bashed Coca-Cola’s multicultural, LGBT-inclusive ad that played to the tune of “America the Beautiful” during Sunday’s Super Bowl.

It didn’t take long for haters to attack the soda company for the ad with the likes of Glenn Beck accusing Coke of trying to “divide people” with its inclusive ad, according to RawStory.com.

Woods used “Last Word” segment from Monday’s broadcast at WXIA to shred those who said, or Tweeted hateful, homophobic, and racist comments regarding the commercial.

“The quote on the Statue of Liberty doesn’t say ‘give me your English-speaking only, Christianity-believing, heterosexual masses.’ It says ‘give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses tempest-tost,’” Woods said.

One notable piece of Woods’ argument is her pointing out that the woman who penned the beloved patriotic ballad “America the Beautiful,” Katharine Lee Bates, had been in love with another woman.

But don’t let us tell you about it. Watch Woods in action!
