So far, 2022 has kept us fed with amazing new music from superstars like Beyoncé, Lizzo, Rosalía, BTS, The Weeknd, FKA Twigs, Bad Bunny, Charli XCX, Avril Lavigne, Florence + The Machine, and Camila Cabello, among others. Thankfully, this week was no different.

While music fans vibe to Lizzo’s new album, Special, and look forward to the highly-anticipated Renaissance album from Beyoncé, plenty of LGBTQ+ artists and allies are releasing new bops and fantastic music videos along the way. From established musicians to up-and-coming queer artists, there’s a lot of great new music out there for people to listen to.

This week, PRIDE interviewed Priyanka about her cinematic music video for “Snatch,” but she wasn’t the only RuPaul’s Drag Race alum to release exciting new music. Meanwhile, there were other queer artists releasing amazing songs for fans of pop, Latin music, hip hop, and indie music. Overall, the music industry has never been this diverse not only in terms of LGBTQ+ representation but also in terms of the genres that queer people can be successful at.
