Montero incoming.
Just days out from the release of his debut album, Montero, Lil Nas X is celebrating a win. After shaking up the girls at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards on the red carpet, arriving in a lilac Atelier Versace number, and getting the crowd going even more after stripping down on stage during the performance of his song "Industry Baby," the Georgia-born star has taken home the biggest award of the night. "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" was named Video of the Year at the 2021 MTV VMA Awards on Sunday.
In his fifth look of the night — the first was the Versace, the second was his marching band gear, the third was his prison jumpsuit, the fourth was his bedazzled boxer briefs — Nas X took to stage to thank the "gay agenda" for his win.

After he got off stage he tweeted something a bit more direct.

The video itself hit culture like a tsunami, sending shockwaves in its wake. Nas X has ridden those waves, and even stirred up more as he's continued on his album roll out for Montero, which is due for a September 17th release.
The win marks Nas X's third moonperson.
