He's been getting off the fire tweets all weekend, imagining a world in which he drops the soap after being locked up. But this morning, the day of, he released a skit built in a Tyler Perry-esque format.

In it, Nas X plays every character of note in his court appearance. He is the judge, he is the defense attorney, the prosecuting attorney, and the defendant. A true performer.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, this is about much more than shoes," prosecuting Nas X says. "Mr. Nas X are you gay?"

It is all, in a word, hilarious.

Nas X is sentenced to five years at Montero State Prison In the end. And we find out that it's all a teaser for his much-awaited single "Industry Baby." The track will release on July 23 and is produced by Kanye West.

The track would be the third from his upcoming album Montero. He kicked that roll out off with the explosive reaction to "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)." He followed that sexy bop up with the much more emotional and introspective "Sun Goes Down."
