It's been a great year for "Old Town Road" rapper Lil Nas X, and as if breaking the Billboard Hot 100 record for the longest-running #1 single wasn't enough of a milestone, the newly-out artist is also now officially a magazine cover star!

The "Panini" mastermind is gracing the cover of this week's issue of TIME (in a fresh AF, all-red ensemble), and in his cover story, he talks about his sexuality and the decision he made to publicly come out during Pride Month earlier this year.
"I never would have done that if I wasn’t in a way pushed by the universe," he said about his coming out. "In June, I’m seeing Pride flags everywhere and seeing couples holding hands–little stuff like that."
Naturally, fans were ecstatic.
