And it features a few familiar faces from Hayley's Disney era.

It’s been a long wait for new music from Lesbian Jesus, but finally, it is here.

Hayley Kiyoko released not only a new song, but a new music video this morning, called “I Wish.”

In the video, Kiyoko appears to be a girl away at boarding school, hanging out in a secret room with several of her friends (including fellow former Disney stars Maia Mitchell and Madison Pettis). One procures a potion of some sort for Hayley to take in order to forget a girl who hasn’t been treating her right. They perform a spell, sending Hayley into a well-choreographed dream state as she starts to forget the girl she once loved.

The song feels like a natural progression from Lesbian J’s Expectations era. It maintains Hayley’s penchant for catchy but heartfelt lyrics and melodies that so easily get stuck in your head, without feeling like something you’ve heard a million times before.

The video was directed by the singer herself, and features the signature high energy expression we’ve come to expect after videos like "Curious" and "Feelings."

It’s too soon to say when we might end up getting a new full album from Hayley, but if her sophomore effort is anywhere near as memorable as the first, we’ll consider ourselves fully #blessed by our queer savior. And honestly, if the whole thing is vaguely witchcraft-themed, we won’t be mad about that either.

And in the meantime, you can watch the full video below and remember all the times love got away.
