The Trippy Visuals for Jared Gelman's 'Proximity' Are Stunning

If he's not on your radar already, get ready to know Jared Gelman. The Los Angeles–based pop star debuted "Proximity" earlier this month at the fourth annual QueerX Festival, and it goes without saying that it's a certified bop! In addition to his performance, Gelman also directed and edited othe music video for the track.

The super-catchy song, matched with trippy, stunning visuals creates a video that truly shows his creativity.

"The song itself has a lot of sexual undertones, so I wanted to juxtapose that with a video that solely featured me," Gelman said of the visuals. Diving deeper into his artistic choices, he continues, "The aim was to maintain the sonic undertones of intimacy, even when parts of the visual were more in-your-face.” 

He expresses his true self throughout the video not just through his oufits and makeup, but with his choreography and presence. His entire ensemble is lavish and sensual, and we're here for it!
