Ariana Grande Reunited NSYNC for Her Coachella Set!!!
It's tearin' up our hearts!
Everyone knew Ariana’s Coachella set was gonna be bangin’, but she went EXTRA all out by throwing a freaking NSYNC reunion in the middle of it.
Ari's recent single “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored” samples a classic NSYNC song, “It Makes Me Ill.” And after that performance, voila, our boyband heartthrobs of the late 90s/early 00s arrived.
“I’ve been waiting all my motherfucking life to say this: NSYNC!” Ari shouted by way of introduction.
While Justin Timberlake wasn’t in attendance, ALL FOUR of the other boy banders showed up — JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick.
After they came on stage, the guys and Ari performed one of their biggest hits together, “Tearin’ Up My Heart" -- complete with pitch perfect dance moves.
And! When Ari sang the second verse, she didn't even erroneously change "girl" to "boy" in "if you want me girl, let me know." It's a goddamn gift.
As incredible as the performance was, we can't deny that the pictures from it are pretty amazing as well.
Nicki Minaj and Diddy also made appearances as part of Ariana’s set, performing “Bang Bang” and “Mo Money Mo Problems,” respectively.
Between their star power, an NSYNC reunion, and Ariana Grande just being a major freaking headliner, it wasn’t long before #ARICHELLA was trending on Twitter, despite tonight being the premiere of the final season of Game of Thrones.
We can't wait to see what she does for weekend two!
