MNEK's New Music Video for 'Correct' Will Have You Feeling Powerful AF
If you need a break from all of the rampant homophobia that the music industry seems to be rife with this week (*cough*Doja Cat*cough*Eminem), MNEK and his new music video for his single "Correct" are here to show you what joyful, queer excellence looks like.
"Correct was fun, because I could have the LA state of mind, be hip-hop and talk about stuff that, y’know, this is stuff that has happened and that I’ve achieved," MNEK told Gay Times about the inspiration for the track. "The song is saying that to anyone–including myself–that if you’ve earned what you’ve done, no-one should take that away from you, no-one should make you feel bad about it, and girl, own it!"
Watch "Correct" in the video below! (And be prepared to dance your butt off!)
