We're Getting a Sam Smith & Calvin Harris Collab This Week!

Looks like one of our favorite queer, British songbirds is gearing up to release another major collaborative single—this time with the one and only Calvin Harris!

Smith and Harris are set to release their joint work, "Promises," this coming Friday, August 17. The announcement was made in a surprise social media post by Harris on Monday night.

Though Smith has faced some backlash lately for admitting that he is not a fan of the late Michael Jackson's work, he is likely to snag another number chart-topper with his current single "Baby (You Make Me Crazy)," which is featured on his album The Thrill of It All. 

And with the new collaboration with Harris on the very near horizon, it's hard to imagine any bitterness being held over the singer's head by his fans for much longer.
