Frankie Grande Releases 'Seasons of Love' Cover With Ariana
’Tis the season, the season of love.
We’re talking literally about “Seasons of Love,” of course. It’s the most well-known song from Broadway's LGBTQ fave, Rent, and YouTube has been bubbling over with covers of it since the dawn of time.
And now we can add another, because Frankie Grande just popped up with his own version.
He’s joined in the heartfelt rendition by a couple of his friends, and, yay!, his sister Ariana. Frankie credits Ari not only with contributing her voice to the project, but for “vocal producing.” He even included shots of the two of them putting forth some serious concentration in front of a computer to show it was so.
The YouTube video description notes that its in partnership with the upcoming Rent: Live on Fox, so you can definitely expect more covers of "Seasons of Love," and maybe even other Rent songs, to pop up from your favorite YouTubers in the near future.
In fact, Todrick Hall has also released his.
You can catch Rent: Live on Fox on January 27th. This is not an ad. We just like Rent!
