It's Cher, bitch.

There is going to a musical all about about the goddess herself. The icon. The woman with one name: Cher.

This is not a drill, people.

Three different actresses will be portraying Cher at various stages of her life, telling Cher’s story through her music.

The Cher Show will first start in Chicago, beginning performances June 12th at the Oriental Theater. There it will run for five weeks. Then, if all goes according to plan, it will move to the Neil Simon Theater on Broadway, opening next Fall.

Apparently, this project has been in the works for quite some time. Cher said in a statement, “We have been discussing this musical for 10 years… It’s exciting and scary.”

The musical will also be structured like a variety show, and while this may sound bizarre, it’s a nod to The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, which was what helped propel her to celebrity status in the '70s.

Oh, and last thing! The musical currently features all or at least part of 35 to 40 of Cher’s best known songs.

Are you ready for this? Do you believe this is happening? DO YOU BELIEVE IN LIFE AFTER LOVE?
