"Cut to the Feeling" is definitely a good cure for our Monday blues.

On the heels of her 2015 record E•MO•TION and last year's EP E•MO•TION: Side B, Canadian singer-songwriter (and passionate LGBT ally) Carly Rae Jepsen is treating her fans to some new material today, this time in the form of her newest song "Cut to the Feeling."

The catchy song is part of the sountrack to the animated Candian film Ballerina, which, as reported by NewNowNext, will be released in the US later this year with the new name Leap! Carly provides the voice to one of the characters in the film, so it's only fitting that a pop queen like her provided one of the songs to the soundtrack.
