Adele's New Music Video Is Almost Too Trippy to Handle
Send our love to the many Adeles in this addicting video.
What's better than one Adele? Endless Adeles. Or, at least that's how many we're assuming are featured in this new video for "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" that Adele debuted at the Billboard Music Awards last night. Directed by Patrick Daughters and from her album 25 (that, of course, also brought us "Hello," and a million of our own tears), this video features Adele bopping around to a funky anthem as she bids adieu to her old lover, and 'hey' to their new one. While the video starts off pretty chill and classy with Adele staring directly into our souls as she sings against a black background, soon she morphs into a million Adeles, and we're a little overwhelmed in the best possible way. Check out the video right here:
We're pretty sure the upbeat nature of this song is definitely masking something secretly heartbreaking, but hey, we'll keep dancing around to it anyway. Even better, now there's an Adele for all of our emotions all in one video. We've got basic Adele, for the chill days:
Blue Adele for the rainy days (like, for instance, the days when we listen to Adele):
Orange Adele for those moments of intense, fiery passion:
And trippy Adele for when things start getting crazy:
May the many Adeles reign supreme over music forevermore. And don't worry, they likely will because Adele picked up plenty of Billboard Music Awards last night including, rightfully, "Top Artist." Now to press repeat on this rad tune all day!
