It may only be March, and spring literally just started a few days ago, but we're already gearing ourselves up for Christmas this year. Why, you ask? Because Netflix is blessing us with another queer AF romantic comedy film to obsess over!
Yup, the streaming giant just announced that Single All the Way is going to be the latest addition to their fully-loaded 2021 lineup, and is set to premiere sometime during the holiday season!
Directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer and starring a stacked cast that includes Michael Urie, Philemon Chambers, Luke MacFarlane, Barry Bostwick, Jennifer Robertson, and comedy screen legends Jennifer Coolidge and Kathy Najimy, Single All the Way tells the story of a gay man named Peter who is "desperate to avoid his family’s judgment about his perpetual single status," according to the film's official (and relatable AF) description.
"Peter convinces his best friend Nick to join him for the holidays and pretend that they're now in a relationship. But when Peter’s mother sets him up on a blind date with her handsome trainer James — the plan goes awry."

"Celebrating Christmas in springtime with this amazing group of artists must mean I was good this year," star Michael Urie said in a statement. "Chad Hodge has written a laugh-out-loud-funny and lump-in-throat-sweet movie that Michael Mayer will effortlessly lift off the page. My mom is Kathy Najimy, my dad is Barry Bostwick and my aunt is Jennifer Coolidge — if that isn’t some kinda gay Christmas miracle, I don’t know what is."
Single All the Way will hit Netflix later this year!
