Mean Girls Toaster Strudel Is FINALLY a Real Thing
These pastries look yummy — and fetch — AF!
Gretchen Wieners might not have gotten any candy cane grams, but she IS getting her face plastered on a limited-edition, Toaster Strudel box!
Yup, 16 years after its original theatrical release, Pillsbury's Toaster Strudel brand is finally releasing a Mean Girls-themed version of its beloved, fast pastry treat, commemorating one of the most hilarious characters in the hit 2004 high school comedy.
“And ALL for Gretchen Wieners! 💕 Announcing NEW @MeanGirls Inspired Toaster Strudel with Limited Edition Pink Icing!”— Toaster Strudel (@Toaster Strudel) 1599050076
"And ALL for Gretchen Wieners!" Toaster Strudel wrote in a tweet announcing the limited-edition breakfast sweet, complete with special pink frosting!
As our friends at The Mary Sue point out, we're not sure why this brand collab is happening now, especially since the movie has been around for almost two decades, but we're not complaining! (And neither is Gretchen's father, the inventor of Toaster Strudel.)
We'll definitely be combing through all the aisles of our local grocery stores to land our hands on a box of these fetch AF Toaster Strudels soon!
