So the 2019 Academy Award nominees were announced earlier this morning, and while there were a ton of deserving Oscar nominations to get excited about, one of the names that stuck out to us the most was none other than bisexual pop queen Lady Gaga!!
After a stellar feature film debut in last fall's A Star Is Born, Mother Monster snagged nominations in the Best Actress category and the Best Original Song category (alongside Mark Ronson for the hit single off the ASIB soundtrack, "Shallow").
\u201cCongrats to @ladygaga on her Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her powerful performance as Ally! Her first nomination in this category. #AStarIsBorn #OscarNoms #Oscars\u201d— A Star Is Born (@A Star Is Born) 1548168631

So will Gaga take home some gold hardware? We'll just have to wait and find out! (And we'll be rooting for her every step of the way!)
