Whoopi Goldberg Confirms 'Sister Act 3' Is in the Works

Grab your habits and jazz shoes—it looks like we're getting a third Sister Act!

Whoopi Goldberg has revealed that a Sister Act 3 is in the works currently and will be taking a very "different direction" from its predecessors.

Goldberg, who plays the franchise's lead role, Deloris Van Cartier, has long been vocal about returning for another sequel despite her belief that Disney was only so inclined to reboot the series.

When speaking with Good Morning Britain, Goldberg explained, "We've been all over Disney begging. They've decided that they're going to go in a different direction with Sister Act. It will be a brand new rendition of Sister Act, and I guess I'll walk through a scene and that's how they'll say I was part of it."

But is it possible that Goldberg could be pulling a fast one on us and perpetuating this idea of a Disney reboot? We certainly hope so. BRING BACK OUR GIRLS!
