Love Transcends Gender in the Upcoming Teen Rom-Com Every Day
We can't wait to watch this one!
Imagine waking up every day in a different body. The person was always around the same age, and you never woke up in the same body twice. Then imagine you happen to meet the love of your life, and each day you have to return to them in a different body, as a different person.
That’s the premise of the upcoming film Every Day, based on The New York Times best-selling YA novel of the same name. Author David Levithan tells the story of Rhiannon, a 16-year-old who falls in love with a mysterious spirit named "A" who inhabits a different body every day of their life.
There are a number of beautiful messages in the story, with one of the main ones being how true love can transcend gender.
One of the bodies "A" inhabits belongs to Vic, played by transgender actor Ian Alexander from Netflix’s The OA. He tweeted about the film yesterday, writing, "Baby’s first feature film."
