The Beaches Remake Is Happening and We're Already Crying

We all remember our first time watching Beaches. Bette Midler. Barbara Hershey. And the music! Well, your well-worn DVD (or, dare we say, VHS) copy of the movie is about ready to get a much-needed break. Why?

A remake is on the way!

Normally, remakes make us skeptical, especially when it's a beloved classic. However, the Lifetime reboot stars Broadway (and Frozen) darling Idina Menzel and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum Nia Long. And this new trailer?

We're already crying.

The Beaches remake airs on Lifetime early next year, January 21, 2017.
