9 Steps to Find the Perfect Man This Cuffing Season
Looking to get cuffed this winter?

For those that don't know, Urban Dictionary describes cuffing season as:
"During the Fall and Winter months people who would normally rather be single or promiscuous find themselves, along with the rest of the world, desiring to be "cuffed" or tied down by a serious relationship. The cold weather and prolonged indoor activity causes singles to become lonely and desperate to be cuffed."
What I would add to this definition, is that come springtime, when the Speedos come out and the shirts come off, one of the men in the relationship decides to end it.
Many guys lament cuffing season, discouraged that the fling wasn’t real, but I beg to differ. The fling is, without a doubt, real AF, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with finding a consistent hunk to cuddle under the covers with while the rain and snow pours down outside.
So if you’re looking to get cuffed this winter, here’s how you do it!
(SIDENOTE: If you want a man this cuffing season, start looking for one now. Don't wait any longer! Many guys are already cuffed at this point. It's December! It's snowed in some places!! What are you waiting for??)
1. Hop online (Grindr/Scruff/Hornet/Tinder)
Any of the more casual hook-up sites will do.
2. Be upfront about what you’re looking for
Do not pretend you are looking for something more serious than it is. FWCB. Friends With Cuddle Benefits.
3. Emphasize the cuddling
70% of the appeal of being cuffed is the cuddling. Lead with that. Mention that you’re vers when it comes to cudling. You can be big and little spoon. If you find a third, you can even be the elusive middle spoon!
4. Ask where he lives
If he lives two buses and a train over on the other side of town, he is not the man for you. The name of the game is staying warm and dry. Don't be swayed by a pretty smile to travel far.
5. Ask him what types of movies he likes
If he only watches rom-coms and you like sci-fi, this relationship is not going to work.
6. Ask him how big his laptop screen is
This will be your television screen for the next three months. Bigger is better!
7. Ask him if he wants to come over
You could go out for a drink to get to know one another, I suppose, but isn’t that what you’re trying to avoid? Leaving your apartment? Have him come over.
8. Make sure you’re wearing comfy PJs every time he comes over
It lets him know that you are on a mission. The cuddle mission!
9. Don’t fall in love
But if you do, who’s to say you have to break up once cuffing season is over? Cuddling during the spring ain’t so bad either!
