We've been pretty much obsessed with tomboy clothing line Wildfang since it first launched this spring, and now the fierce folks behind the brand have rolled out their latest swoon-worthy campaign.
Launching a multifaceted campaign that's part social media, part contest, part fashion show, Wildfang recruited studly gender-bending female male model Casey Legler and actor Riley Keough (who played lesbian in last year's Jack and Diane) for its newest effort, called "We Are Wildfang."
“Show Us Your Wildfang allows you to tell the world exactly what kind of Wildfang you are and at the same time be a part of something bigger,” Wildfang CEO Emma McIlroy told AfterEllen. “When you Show Us Your Wildfang, you show us your ‘snarl’ and fill in the blank: I am a _______ Wildfang. It allows us to showcase the diversity and range of the modern tomboy, while celebrating the culture and attitude we share in common.”
Wildfang is asking fans to take to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram with the hashtag #WeAreWildfang over the next two weeks and show off their wild sides. Providing a sexy tutorial, here's Legler's entry:
"What does Wildfang mean to me? Well, a Wildfang can be as dreamy as a Unicorn and as ferocious as a Wolverine," Legler told AE. "I will totally roll with you and celebrate you doing your thing because we’re all different. But the second you start trying to tell me how I should feel, or what I should look like, I will rally and kick your ass. That’s a Wildfang."
