Do women who like women lean more toward bourbon, Bud Light, or Bourdeaux?
Do women who like women lean more toward bourbon, Bud Light, or Bourdeaux? A study by Experian Simmons determined what lesbians, gay men, straight women, and straight men prefered when happy hour comes around.
The survey shows that gays and lesbians are more likely to go out to a nightclub or bar, concerts, or dine out than straight people. We're also serious foodies. 52% of gay women say they enjoy eating foreign food versus 46% of straight women. And on top of that, 55% of lesbians say they've cooked for fun in the past year versus 44% of straight women (there's something to that — I mean, you could base an entire sociology or gender studies term paper on that statistic alone, right?)
Below are results from the survey, accompanied by a few personal picks in each category.
And we want to know: what do you usually have in-hand at parties? Or, is drinking just not your thing?
