Raven-Symoné is Actually a Perfect Co-Host for The View
It's official. After a few months of being a guest, Raven-Symoné is now the newest addition to The View's panel of regular co-hosts, and although she's caught a lot of slack in the past for some *cough* interesting *cough*comments she's made on things like race and sexuality, there is no denying that her unique personality and charisma are going to make for incredibly entertaining television.

She's actually the perfect person to help host one of America's most talked about daily talk shows. And here's why.
She's always saying the most interesting, off-the-wall things.
Raven is definitely no stranger to controversy, and although some of the things she says sometimes piss a lot of people off, there is no denying her quotes about "being colorless" and not wanting to be labeled for her sexuality make for good television. People will tune in just to hear all of her brilliant one-liners.
She gives the hosting panel a much needed younger voice.
The View pushed for more diversity when they hired women like Rosie Perez and Whoopi Goldberg to join the hosting cast full-time, and with Raven now on the payroll, the show not only gets another African-American perspective (although she doesn't consider herself that), they get a perspective of a younger 20-something. Something The View hasn't really seen.
She's opinionated. And better yet, she's vocal about those opinions.
One of our favorite things about the former Disney Channel star is that she isn't afraid to speak her mind, and why should she be?
And speaking of her opinions, no matter how much you may agree or disagree with them, she is not afraid to defend them.
Just like how she isn't afraid to express her opinions, Raven also isn't afraid to stick up for herself to whoever challenges her. And that will make for a brilliant dynamic on show that is all about views on current events. No matter how you feel about what she says, you can't be mad at a strong, opinionated woman.
And plus, her hair is always laid.
Okay, we admit this is kinda shallow to add, especially with all of Raven's other crazy qualifications, but she has some of the coolest, hair The View has, and probably will ever, see and we're sure some fans will tune in just to see what look Ms. Symoné will pull off next.
So what do you think? Will you be tuning into The View on the regs now that Raven-Symoné is the newest host? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter.
