The new season of RuPaul's Drag Race is sure to make major waves.
With a stacked cast, remodeled stage, and plenty of shenanigans that'll gag fans around the world... there's nothing more exciting than a return to the werkroom.
This new crop of divas are also hoping to make their drag families proud as Drag Race alum Trinity The Tuck, Irene "The Alien" Dubois, Jasmine Kennedie, Plane Jane, and Luxx Noir London all have daughters or sisters competing on season 17.
London is proudly rooting for her daughter, Lana Ja'Rae, and the Drag Race finalist even revealed that she helped her daughter with her wardrobe as they created runway looks for the show.
"I think she's going to absolutely kill it. I know what she's going to wear because I helped her get it all together! It's a dream come true for her. It's so weird to see someone I have helped so much go and be able to live their dream. I'm very excited for her," London tells PRIDE.
Kandy Muse recently experienced this same thrilling feeling as her daughter Xunami Muse just competed on the last season of Drag Race.
"It's really exciting seeing one of your close friends go on television, especially after you've already been on it. It's a little scary as well because you know what the fans can be like. You're very protective over your person, but it's a dream come true," Muse says.
"I feel like I'm on Drag Race again! I'm as excited for her as I was for myself when I was announced on the show. I do think it'll be hard for so many girls to top my design challenge, but I think Lana will do something that is spectacular," London adds.
RuPaul's Drag Race premieres Friday, January 3, on MTV. To see the full interview with Luxx Noir London and Kandy Muse, check out the video at the top of the page.
