Heartbreak never sounded so good.
Back in 2017, LP became a global phenomenon when their song “Lost On You" reached the top of the charts in 18 countries.
Since their commercial breakthrough, LP has earned over three billion streams and performed to sold-out crowds all over the world.
Now, the star is doing what they do best by channeling all of their emotions into song and gearing up for to release their seventh record Love Lines.
"This is me. I was getting over someone, I was getting into someone, I was going back... I had all these vignettes happening in my life and I feel like I was able to write about it with some clarity," LP tells PRIDE.
With love and loss being a constant theme in their music, LP is hoping fans who've experienced similar ups and downs in their own relationships can connect to the lyrics in the upcoming album.
"When you break up with someone, I don't think you're listening to love and breakup songs the same. When you get broken up with, you're dying. It's good to feel all those feelings. The biggest thing I hope that a record can be is this toolbox of feelings."
Not only is LP sharing their music through our speakers, but fans can also see the singer live on their upcoming tour starting this fall.
"When I finished this record out last year, I needed it. It's perfect timing. It feels like I just put music out, but because the pandemic, it was a really weird time. It was right on time. It's just a beautiful thing to be on stage with people you made music with. I'm just excited."
Love Lines drops September 29. To check out tour dates, check out the official website here.
