Will these queens find their kings?

Actress and philanthropist Holly Robinson Peete is now adding the role of host to her résumé in Peacock's new show Queens Court.

The star is teaming up with her husband, Rodney Peete, to help celebrities Tamar Braxton, Evelyn Lozada, and Nivea find the men of their dreams.

"Rodney and I are dating show junkies. We love them! What was intriguing when we were approached about this show is that these are women in their 40s, African-American women, who have done a lot but have gone through some things. I like that plot twist! I'm really about people having second and third chances at love," Peete tells PRIDE.

With three women looking to find their soulmates, Queens Court doesn't see the women battling each other for the same men.

"We have enough shows with women, especially Black women, coming for each other. This was a show where there was support and I love that. I think people are going to take away a lot of life lessons and maybe see themselves in the queens and kings, or maybe even me and Rodney. I feel very confident that people are going to love this show."

The new dating show offers a diverse group of men trying to win over the queens, which is something Peete is happy to showcase on TV.

"Representation is everything. When you see yourself, you can be so much. It shows you possibilities for your life. It's entertaining for sure, but I do feel like there's some really great takeaways. What are you looking for in life? Do you want to find love? In the end, it was a fun ride and Rodney and I were so invested with the outcome... maybe a little too invested. I enjoyed being around all those gorgeous men. I smelled 21 mixtures of cologne at one time and it was fun!"

Queens Court is streaming now on Peacock. To see the full interview with Holly Robinson Peete, check out the video below.
