Mia Thornton is moving on from The Real Housewives of Potomac.
Following four seasons on the hit Bravo show, the star announced her departure on Instagram as she's now relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.
Thornton's final moment on RHOP happened during the season nine reunion when she stormed off the set after Gizelle Bryant called her a terrible mother.
Ashley Darby is one of the only OG cast members to still be on the fan-favorite program and she wasn't completely surprised by Thornton's announcement.
"This isn't shocking to me. The reunion left me with a not-so-good taste in my mouth. I know that she was going through a lot, but one thing I've learned is you can't shy away from these hard conversations. I just look at her in a different light. This probably is the best choice for her," Darby tells PRIDE.
Although RHOP may be behind her, Thornton has expressed an interest on switching franchises and joining the women on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
"If you're going to run away the way that she did, those ladies [on Atlanta] would chew her up and spit her out," Darby says.
With Karen Huger and Thornton both exiting the franchise, many fans are speculating that Candiace Dillard-Bassett could eventually make a return after she left the show in 2024 to have a baby.
"It's a mixed bag. I know Candiace very well and we've had our share of ups and downs. When I became a mother, I started understanding my dynamic with Monique in such a different way that helped our relationship to grow. I'm wondering if the same thing can be spoken for Candiace."
While RHOP continues to figure out the cast for season ten, Darby is keeping herself busy by starring on the brand new spin-off Bravo's Love Hotel.
Alongside Bryant, Shannon Beador, and Luann de Lesseps, these four iconic single Real Housewives are looking to find love at a luxurious resort filled with plenty of handsome and eccentric men.
"It's hard for us Housewives to date! I was very pleasantly surprised with the selection of men. Everybody had nice teeth! To be in Cabo together for three weeks... talk about sisterhood. I had the time of my life! I really enjoyed every second in the Love Hotel."
