"Equality feels much more fundamental."
Harry Styles, former One Direction star turned solo artist, believes that gay rights are a fundamental issue rather than a political one.
In an interview with French TV channel Quotidien, Styles was asked about his opinion on Brexit. He quickly pivoted away from the question with “I don’t really talk about politics."
The host responded, “Yet you are in favor of equality of rights, men, women, gay people, straight people. That’s politics.”
Styles elaborated “That doesn’t feel like politics to me. I think stuff like equality feels much more fundamental. I feel like everyone is equal. That doesn’t feel like politics to me.”
AMEN HARRY.
"To me, anything that brings people together is better than things that pulls people apart," the pop star emphasized.
