It’s going to be a while before we can feast our eyes on a new season of The Boys, but Amazon is keeping the fans fed in the meantime with first looks at two of its newest supes: Firecracker and Sister Sage.

Out actor Valorie Curry is set to star as Firecracker, and while we still don’t know much about her, what we do know is that she’s donning a very patriotic lewk. In a style that’s reminiscent of Payback (RIP), she’s wearing a red and blue ensemble that majorly hints at her love of firearms. She has a holster on her thigh with a belt buckle featuring both a gun and a firecracker — or is that a stick of dynamite? Either way, that super suit is popping off.

Sister Sage (Susan Heyward), on the other hand, has a suit that, while very fierce, isn’t giving away any of her superpowers. If you look closely, all the details refer to her name with SS, presumably referencing her name Sister Sage, in both the pattern on her costume and in the belt buckle.

While it hasn’t released any details about the two new characters, Amazon did tease on Twitter that Sage is “already a thousand steps ahead of you,” perhaps hinting at psychic abilities and that Firecracker “has a short fuse,” which sounds pretty explosive.

Both hints are in keeping with what showrunner Eric Kripke has said previously about the characters on Twitter. “These new Supes are some of the best & craziest ever written for #TheBoys. You are going to love them. And by love, I mean to be absolutely horrified & a tiny bit nauseous,” he wrote.

We can’t wait to see what that means when the show returns for a fourth season, which is currently filming in Toronto.
