Fashion faux pas in the first degree!
Move over Joan Rivers, the Fashion Police Squad is here!
A new videogame from developer Mopeful Games and publisher No More Robots will give the power back to the people, and lets you be the fashion police. But this ain't your usual first-person shooter.
In order to "bring style to the streets" and "turn fashion felons fabulous," you must "whip their wardrobes into shape" literally with a belt. Which you can also use to swing from buildings like Spider-man. And when you shoot your enemies, they gain some style sense instead of dying. Or you can slap some sense into them the good ol' fashioned way.
According to Gayming Mag, Fashion Police Squad takes place in Trendopolis, where sightings of fashion faux pas — like dull suits and socks with sandals — are on the rise. It’s up to the FPS and Sergeant Des to grab their belts of justice and their custom sewing machines to get these fashion challenged folks back on the right runway. That said, you have other weaponry at your disposal as well, including weaponized sock gnomes."
The game positions you as a first-person shooter but instead of Call of Duty-style mass murders, you're making people over! A much cuter premise if we do say so ourselves.
"Each of these cases needs to be handled differently, so it’s up to you to choose how you’ll help, be it jazzing something up with your sewing machine, giving someone a snazzy new belt, or getting color blocking in order. Along the way, you will work to figure out the mysterious origins of this sudden resurgence in fashion crimes."
We're intrigued!
