Every July, San Diego's convention center transforms itself into Comic-Con International (better known as San Diego Comic-Con), a highly-attended mecca of pop culture and the best place for superhero and science fiction lovers to be. And for all the queer nerds out there, SDCC has plenty of offerings that cater specifically towards LGBTQ+ fandoms!
Here's some of the events we'll be looking forward to at SDCC 2019 this weekend!
PRIDE will also be attending SDCC for the first time this year! Make sure you're following PRIDE on Instagram and Twitter for all of our coverage!

This long-running SDCC panel turns 32 years old this year and will "celebrate and spotlight LGBTQ+ creators, comics, and fans as they discuss the past, present, and future." RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4 finalist and All Stars winner Chad Michaels is a featured panelist!

There's nothing queer comic/movie geeks love more than fierce, badass women! This panel celebrates all the empowered ladies in some of our fave superhero titles, including Avengers star Cobie Smulders and Batwoman's Ruby Rose!

Speaking of Batwoman, ahead of the series' fall premiere, the cast and crew of the show starring our new fave lesbian superhero are hosting a special screening of the pilot episode!

The cast and creators of the gay AF Netflix animated series are stopping by SDCC this year to talk about the highly-anticipated third season!

Excited for Steven Universe: The Movie? So are we! The voices and minds behind one of the most LGBTQ-inclusive animated shows to date are going to premiere the highly-anticipated trailer, as well as answer some fan questions and sing some songs!

So what's in store for the MCU post-Endgame? Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige—as well as some surprise special guests—will give the crowd at this year's SDCC an inside look at the future of our fave superhero universe, which we hope includes more details about the reportedly LGBTQ-inclusive title, The Eternals.
