Fanboys Edited Avengers: Endgame to Remove Brie Larson & 'Gay Shit'
So many people throughout the world have been loving the record-breaking, Marvel Studios film Avengers: Endgame ever since it was released a few weeks ago, but because the internet is a complete and total hellscape, there are some people out there (*cough* fanboys *cough*) who can't enjoys things without having to make it all about themselves.
“So white men are downloading and pirating a copy of Endgame that has all of the non-white men edited out.

#WhiteFragilityIsReal

😂😂😂😭😭😭”— 🇯🇲Black🇭🇹 Aziz 🇳🇬aNANsi🇹🇹 (@🇯🇲Black🇭🇹 Aziz 🇳🇬aNANsi🇹🇹) 1557781380
According to Australian pop culture website Pedestrian, an anonymous user posted their own edited version of the latest Avengers film to torrent websites (PRIDE won't be linking to it) with most of the scenes featuring women (most notably, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel), people of color, and "gay shit" all cut out.
Pedestraian reports that the uploader's following notes were posted alongside the Endgame fan edit:
-No Hawkeye training his daughter
-No women leader conference, no gay support group talk
-Moping/Dialogue/Filler in first act severely reduced
-Any science babble that isn’t necessary to understand the story is gone. Nothing takes you out of a movie quite like pseudo-science.
-Tony doesn’t ask his wife’s permission to save the universe.
-Female sorceress gets scared of Hulk and just gives him the stone.
-Tony doesn’t meet his Dad, Thor doesn’t meet his Mom, it’s pointless.
-Sadly [Thor is] unsalvageable in general, but I did the best to make him more dignified.
-Black Panther isn’t the first revived Avenger to arrive and gets a bit less time, he’s really not that important.
-Women in final battle severely reduced. In particular Pepper has no business being there.
-In general, whenever it felt like Marvel sniffing its own farts, that part is probably gone.
Yup, some fanboy was so offended at the thought of people other than straight, white men helping save the day that they removed some of the diverse, beloved characters that helped make Endgame the kickass film that it is...
Luckily, Marvel fans on Twitter were having none of this BS.
“I won’t be reading anymore articles about all of these misogynists and racists changing art to fit their shitty beliefs. For those of you who aren't triggered by the mere thought of queer people, people of color, and powerful, badass women having space in a superhero movie, Avengers: Endgame is currently playing in theaters.
