"Ekans, Koffing...your Team Rocket failed to blast off."

RuPaul's Drag Race meets Pokémon in this epic fan-crossover of our dreams!

In a new animation from queer graphic artist Sindre Johnsen, Ekans and Koffing take the mainstage to be judged by Michelle Visage and RuPaul, or at least Pokémon versions of them.

"Ekans, it’s a piece of fabric with no shape to it," reads Jynx (a.k.a. Michelle Visage). "Why would you cover up your curves like that? And Koffing honey, I wanted more body from you."

Lopunny/RuPaul then deadpans, "Ekans, Koffing, your Team Rocket failed to blast off."

Ekans and Koffing even give some hilarious confessionals that call back to Drag Race stars Ra'Jah O'Hara and Valentina.

With over 344,000 views, the video quickly went viral on Twitter. Johnsen says he created the piece as an ode to two of his favorite franchises.

"I wanted to mix my current queer interests with the nostalgia from my childhood, making something both the six-year-old and the 27-year-old me would enjoy," he told PinkNews. "The TV show characters Jessie and James were, for a lot of people my age, their first introduction to queer-coded characters who even dressed up in drag from time to time."

And the internet loves Johnsen's illustration.

We want a web-series!
